Full desalination cartridge removes salts from tap water and is connected upstream of the Triton SLA steam cleaner.
The full demineralisation cartridge contains an insert with an ion-exchanger resin. This removes all of the salts from the tap water flowing through, particularly the calcium and magnesium that cause hardness. The resin can only absorb a certain amount of salt. Once its capacity is exhausted the cartridge's insert is to be replaced with a new one. The insert can be emptied, cleaned and refilled with Durox replacement resin quite simply.
