SWEEP MODE OPERATION
The 37 kHz E line models operate in Sweep mode. Sweep mode produces a continuous slight variation of frequency to provide uniform and thorough cleaning.
PULSE MODE OPERATION
Activate Pulse mode for Intermittent bursts of 20% additional power to remove tenacious contaminants, degas fresh cleaning solutions and handle sample prep tasks in the lab.
POWER TRACKING
The microprocessor-controlled generator maintains constant ultrasonic power, sensing and adjusting for light or heavy loads in the tank. Digital operation ensures reproducible performance from run to run.
HEATER and TIMER
Set the cleaning temperature from 30°C to 80°C in increments of 5°C. Although ultrasonic tanks should never be operated without liquid, the ceramic heaters are dry-run proof. As added protection there is an automatic shut-off if solution temperatures reach 90â°C.
Turn the timer knob to select the cleaning time from 1-30 minutes. Or set the unit for continuous operation; in this mode you can stop the cleaning manually. If you forget to shut off the ultrasonic power manually it will automatically shut off after 8 hours. This safety feature prevents damage to the ultrasonic equipment as well as to the parts being cleaned. No worries about accidentally leaving the unit running over the weekend.
Just set the timer and heater knobs and press the start key to begin cleaning. The Elmasonic E Plus is surprisingly quiet during the cleaning operation.
